This morning was an awesome talk, my kids LOVED it and we found ourselves investing in some material to teach more on this at home!

I would highly encourage you all to go!

Hope to see you tonight or tomorrow

Ok, I am back... we just got back from tonight's session and once again another stimulating experience! After going to this session I already have a new confidence that I have not had before on this particular topic. Being raised in the "church" I never new any of what was presented. I am so excited and so are my kids. We invested in both libraries because I am now changing my fall curriculum. My six year old loves dinosaurs... we are running with it and teaching all five kids "WHY Creationism" and because our "STARTING POINT" is "GOD"S WORD."
If this sounds interesting to you... please come tomorrow to at least one of the four sessions... it will change your legacy that you leave with your children and potentially generations.
We as a church need to actively raise up sold out for Christ children who are leaders and movers and changers for the kingdom. We need to take things like science and creationism head on... not sweep it under a carpet becasue we don't know all the answers. Maybe God will reveal some to them!

I am so empowered... if you need that kind of refreshing empowerment...COME!
See you tomorrow!

  1. Thanks for the kind comments about the meetings in Portland. Please introduce yourself to Ken -- he is very accessible after he speaks. I sent him your blog item, and I'm sure he would love to meet you. BTW: my wife Renee grew up in Canby and also lived in Logan (not too far from you). Mark, CCO, AiG

  2. Angie, I am so glad you got to go. I was planning on taking the girls this morning to both sessions and had childcare figured out and everything but they both woke up really sick, especially Jaime Lyn with bad asthma due to a cough. We had to stay home. I'd love to hear you share about what you learned when you get a chance! Did you cook with Lindy Friday night?
    Love you!
